There are numerous opportunities during the Charles Wood Summer School to work with Paul Farrington.

Private Tuition

Paul will be available for private tuition from Monday 23 to Friday 27 August as follows:

  • Monday 15.30 - 18.30
  • Tuesday 14.30 - 17.30
  • Wednesday 10.00 - 13.00
  • Thursday 10.00 - 13.00
  • Friday 10.00 - 13.00; 14.30 - 17.30

Lessons are 45 minutes in duration and the fee is £45.

Please contact the Tourist Information Centre (Telephone: 02837 521800) to agree a date and time.

Participants should send two copies of a prepared song from any genre, from classical to music theatre, to the address below by Friday 6 August (please write 'Vocal Lesson Music' on the top left hand corner of the envelope):

Vocal Workshops

Paul will hold two vocal workshops as follows:

  • Wednesday 18.00 - 20.00
  • Thursday 19.00 - 21.30

Participants £15. Advance booking essential, on a 'first come, first served basis'.

Observers £5. Tickets available from Armagh Tourist Information Centre or at the door.

Seminar - 'How does the voice work best?'

This will be on Monday 23 August from 14.00 - 15.15.

Open Rehearsal - Charles Wood Singers

On Tuesday 24 August (10.00 - 12.30), there is a not to be missed opportunity to observe Paul working with the Charles Wood Singers, directed by David Hill.
